# Welcome to ShopperOS

This guide shows you how to set up and run your branded shopping experience in ShopperOS. In one console, you manage your catalog, product pages, the AI concierge, checkout, subscriptions, and fulfillment. The guide is for operators: the people at your brand who run ShopperOS day to day.

## Five words have one fixed meaning

The guide uses each of these words in one meaning only.

| Term                    | Meaning                                                                                         |
| ----------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Project**             | Your workspace for one brand or store. It has its own catalog, pages, concierge, and settings.  |
| **Operator**            | A person who uses ShopperOS to run a project.                                                   |
| **Shopper**             | A customer who visits your store and buys.                                                      |
| **Sales channel**       | A place your orders come from, such as your Shopify store, Walmart Marketplace, or TikTok Shop. |
| **Fulfillment account** | The provider account that holds your inventory and ships your orders, such as Amazon MCF.       |
