# Amazon Prime shipping

Offer Amazon Prime delivery on your own storefront. Shoppers see a free **Amazon Prime** shipping option at checkout, with Amazon's Prime badge and delivery estimate. After the order is placed, Amazon checks whether the shopper is a Prime member.

*Every shopper can pick the Prime option. Only Prime members get Prime speed. Everyone else gets your free speed.*

This uses Amazon's **MCF with Prime** program. Your shopper still pays on your Brandclub checkout. There is no Amazon Pay or Amazon checkout button.

## Before you start

Prime builds on Amazon MCF, so MCF must work for your storefront first.

| You need                                                                          | Notes                                                                                            |
| --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| [Amazon MCF](/fulfillment/amazon-mcf.md) connected and routed for your storefront | Prime works only for your own storefront. Walmart and TikTok Shop orders never get Prime. |
| MCF with Prime turned on for your seller account in Amazon Seller Central | Set this up in Seller Central, under **MCF with Prime**. |
| Each product variant mapped to its own Amazon SKU | See [Step 4 of Amazon MCF](/fulfillment/amazon-mcf.md#step-4-link-your-products-to-amazon-skus). |
| At least one free shipping speed | Prime is only offered on orders where a speed is free. |

## Prime follows your free speed

Prime appears only on orders where at least one speed is free.

| If you set | Prime shows on |
| --------------------------- | -------------------- |
| A speed to **Free**         | Every order          |
| **Free for orders over** $X | Orders of $X or more |
| No free speed | No orders |

## Set up Prime

Make a speed free, turn on Prime, and then add Amazon's badge.

Go to **Settings → Fulfillment**.

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

### Step 1: Make a shipping speed free

1. Scroll to **Shipping speeds and rates**.
2. For one speed, usually **Standard**, choose **Free**. Or keep its rate, and tick **Free for orders over** with an order minimum.
3. Click **Save policies**.

The speed is free on every order, or on orders over your minimum.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Step 2: Turn on Prime

1. Scroll to **Amazon Prime**.
2. Turn on **Offer Amazon Prime shipping at checkout**.
3. Read the status line. For example: **Prime shows on every order because Standard is always free.**
4. Click **Save policies**.

Shoppers now see the Prime option at checkout.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Step 3: Show the Prime badge (optional, recommended)

Without this step, shoppers see the Prime option without Amazon's badge and delivery estimate.

1. In Amazon Seller Central, open **MCF with Prime**, and choose **API**.
2. Add each domain listed under **Allowlist these domains in Seller Central**, one at a time. Your checkout is served from these addresses. They can differ from your storefront address.
3. Copy the `data-target-id` that Amazon gives you. It starts with `bp-`.
4. In ShopperOS, paste it into **Prime delivery card ID**. Paste only the ID, not the whole script tag.
5. Click **Save policies**.

Amazon's badge and delivery estimate now show with the Prime option.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

Done. Next, [test Prime with a checkout](#test-prime-with-a-checkout).

## Prime shows in three places

Shoppers see Prime on the product page, in the bag and at checkout.

| Where            | What shows                                                                                             |
| ---------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Product page** | Amazon's Prime delivery card, when the product can ship with Prime. |
| **Bag** | A Prime delivery message on each eligible item. |
| **Checkout** | **Amazon Prime (once membership is confirmed)** at $0, listed first, above your other shipping speeds. |

The badge and estimate come from Amazon. The badge is blank if Amazon has no delivery promise for a product. It is also blank if a checkout domain is not on your allowlist. The Prime option still works.

## Test Prime with a checkout

A test checkout shows the Prime option before any real shopper sees it.

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

### Fill a bag

On your store, open a product page, and add the product to the bag. If you set a minimum, use a bag over that amount.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Go to checkout

Go to checkout, and enter a US shipping address. The shipping options appear.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Look for Prime

Find **Amazon Prime (once membership is confirmed)** in the shipping options.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

Done. Prime is live on your storefront. If the option is missing, see [Troubleshooting](#troubleshooting).

## Troubleshooting

Each answer below starts from what you see.

<details>

<summary>What if I see "Prime won't appear until a speed is free."?</summary>

Set a speed to **Free**, or add a **Free for orders over** minimum.

</details>

<details>

<summary>What if there is no Prime option at checkout?</summary>

Check that the bag meets your free-shipping minimum. In a mixed bag, every item must ship from a route with Prime on.

</details>

<details>

<summary>What if the badge is blank?</summary>

Check that every domain in the allowlist is added in Seller Central. Also check that the delivery card ID is correct.

</details>

<details>

<summary>What if I see "Paste only the id Amazon generates — it starts with bp-"?</summary>

You pasted the whole script. Copy only the `bp-…` value.

</details>

<details>

<summary>What if Prime orders fail?</summary>

Do not set **Avoid Amazon delivery** to **Required** on your storefront route. Prime delivery uses Amazon's own carriers.

</details>

## Next step

Follow each Prime order like any other storefront order.
